Psychoanalysis in Germany has survived because many analysts left during the second world war and were welcomed in other countries. In our work with patients, we are confronted with the unknown - in others and in ourselves.
Since 2015, we offer counselling for refugees on a regular basis. We collaborate with the social workers and the leaders of Juvente, the local authority who offers shelter for refugees. Weekly open clinics at the refugee homes are delivered and we triage to further psychotherapeutic support, if needed.
Our work is made possible through the help of trained translators.
